You will learn everything in our Bali travel guide, including where to stay, what to do, where to eat, where to go to the beach, and where to buy souvenirs. The choices for your two-day weekend trip to Bali are shown below.
First Day (Morning)
Due to its proximity to the airport and its fantastic beach attractions, Seminyak makes for the perfect starting place for your two-day journey to Bali. Given that you only have 48 hours get a taste of the local culture by beginning your first day early. Before arriving, rent a car and make the most of it by driving straight to Batubulan Village, famous for the Barong at Kris Balinese dance.
You must watch this hour-long performance from 9:30 to 10:30 in the morning. About 45 minutes from Batubulan, the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park is a popular destination for travelers. You could easily spend days exploring this 60-hectare compound and taking in all the magnificent monuments there. Save time and effort by using the loop shuttle. Lunch at Berenda, which offers some of Bali’s best local dishes, is a great way to round off your morning.
A journey to Bali cannot be called complete without visiting the temples. Visit the breathtaking Uluwatu Temple following your afternoon visit to the cultural park. It is situated on a cliff about 70 meters above the sea. Take in the panoramic views, the surrounding landscapes, and the surreal sunsets while watching the evening Kevan drama. The macaque monkeys that live on the temple grounds should be avoided. They have a reputation for stealing items quickly. Due to the perfect wind and wave conditions, this area is also a paradise for surfers.
First Day (Evening)
Visit the Pasar Gianyar Market for a beautiful late-night experience. This location is open till 11 AM and provides a fantastic opportunity to indulge in local cuisine while going on a shopping spree. Talk to the locals and explore the stalls to discover more about Balinese culture in-depth. Once you’re back in Seminyak, you may check out the numerous hotspots for nightlife or some fantastic art galleries and retail stores.
At Seminyak Beach, you may revitalize yourself with a beachfront massage or unwind at one of the chic seaside bars while taking in the scenery. A can of Bintang can be purchased for a few bucks at either Ku De Ta or Potato Head. If you’d rather spend the evening at a bar, travel to Rock Bar Bali at the Resort and take in the expansive ocean views from the cliff face, or choose to have a traditional supper at Ultimo in Seminyak.
Second Day (Morning)
The beaches in Bali are a significant attraction, so you should spend most of your second day exploring them. Start at Kuta, the beach closest to Ngurah Rai International Airport. Here, you can surf or sunbathe all morning. Another site for outstanding surfing is located in Canggu, about 35 kilometers northwest of Kuta, and it is known as Echo Beach. However, the fact that locals always swarm these beaches makes it challenging to move around.
The ideal beach for swimming is Nusa Dua beach, which is about a 30-minute drive from Kuta and has low waves and a slow tide. Drive to Serangan harbor and take a quick boat for Nusa Lembongan in thirty minutes after stopping for a little period. Rent a scooter when you get there because the streets are pretty small. Try their trademark meal, grilled pig belly with rice and vegetables, at Pondok Baruna Warung, the most incredible restaurant in the area, if you’re hungry.
Devil’s Tear is one of Nusa Lembongan’s top attractions. The location is gorgeous and excellent for photography if you can handle the busloads of people coming and going. There won’t be as many people farther down the coast, so take a walk there to take pictures. Dream Beach, one of Indonesia’s most stunning beaches, is located in a little cove close to Devil’s Tear. Spend some time here before heading to the harbor at around 430 p.m. to board the final boat back to Serengan Harbour.
Second Day (Evening)
Spend some time at the Spa getting pampered privately while taking a break from your hectic schedule. One of the best on the island, the stunning spa center is located in a setting reminiscent of the Middle East and comes highly recommended.
Everybody can find something to do in Bali. While the primary attractions are included in this two-day schedule, there are a lot of them, so the ones you like most will ultimately depend totally on your preferences, taste, spending limit, and how quickly you want to visit.
