Two days weekend in Vegas- travel itinerary

Spread the love

There are several good reasons why Las Vegas attracts more than 41 million people annually. To put it briefly, Las Vegas provides guests with a vacation from reality and an average of 310 sunny days per year. The adage “go big or go home” is untrue when it comes to Las Vegas!”

The city’s main thoroughfare, South Las Vegas Boulevard, also known as the Las Vegas Strip or the Strip, spans 4.2 miles and is lined with opulent, world-class casino hotels, renowned shows, attractions, and a thriving food scene.

With towering red rock formations, unusual desert vegetation, and wildlife all around you, head west into a secluded area of Vegas. When visiting Las Vegas for the first time, there is no shame in letting free and being a little crazy because curiosity and discovery are encouraged here.

TIPS FOR GETTING TO AND FROM LAS VEGAS

  • In essence, Las Vegas is a playground for adults. Even though there are kid-friendly activities, this particular weekend in Vega’s plan is only for those at least 21 years old!
  • Download the hotel’s app to your smartphone if you’re staying at a hotel on the Strip for a more direct, quicker, and contactless check-in experience.
  • Make reservations for meals in advance (at least a week or two in advance). Purchasing tickets for attractions and events works similarly. Avoid wasting your trip to Vegas by waiting too long!
  • If you wish to bet on the Strip, join the casino players club (for free) to take advantage of the programs’ privileges, like savings and freebies on food, entertainment, and lodging, among other things.

Your first day in Las Vegas is titled “On the Strip.”

The first day is about being on the Strip, the center of all the action in Las Vegas.

Check out the well-known “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign.

The “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign will greet you warmly as you begin your trip! Get exciting pictures before the sign to add to your camera reel. If you want to take a close-up picture with the sign, there might be a queue. However, if you don’t want to wait, you can always stand to the side of the sign and take a picture.

Additionally, there will be workers by the sign who will snap your photo in exchange for tips, although you are free to decline. If you have a rental car with you, there is a parking area specifically designed for this attraction.

  • On the Strip, have some breakfast.

The pricey food and beverages are the only negative aspect of the Strip. Therefore, grab a bite at The Egg Shop if you’re on a budget (or just trying to save when you can).

  • Enjoy the Strip’s beautiful sights and sounds.

After a satisfying breakfast, spend the day having fun in Vegas! The most excellent way to appreciate all of its luxuries is to immerse oneself in the activities on the Strip. It is abundant, vibrant, and full of spirit.

  • Examine the inside and exterior architecture of each hotel.

You’ll notice that each hotel has a distinct theme (for example, Caesars Palace resembles an Italian palace, Paris Las Vegas has its own Eiffel Tower, Luxor has a pyramid, etc.). You should be impressed by the architecture of each hotel.

  • Go window shopping throughout Vegas.

Even if you don’t have a lot of money, you can still enjoy some time drooling over the expensive goods at Aria’s designer stores. You’ll find enough to admire in the Forum Shops at Caesars, Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian, and Wynn Plaza at the Wynn.

  • Visit The Venetian to take a gondola ride.

Even if you’re not paying to ride a gondola, it’s worth visiting because the Venetian is a magnificent, meticulously constructed hotel with marble columns, arch bridges, and painted ceilings.

Your Day 2 Las Vegas itinerary: Taking a Trip Off the Strip

It’s time to embark on an excursion away from the Strip for the second day of our weekend getaway in Las Vegas.

You’ll see other areas of Las Vegas on your second day there that frequently go unnoticed. Vegas offers much more than just tourist attractions along the Strip!

  • Visit Café Lola for breakfast.

As soon as you walk into this pretty-in-pink cafe, you’ll feel like you’ve sat down for a traditional afternoon tea with a contemporary twist. Every food and drink item at Café Lola is cute, appealing, or, to put it simply, Instagrammable.

  • Drive through Red Rock Canyon to enjoy the scenery.

There are places along the trip where you can stop to take pictures, and there is no time limit on how long you can drive the entire route. To enter the canyon, you must make a reservation. Visit this page to make a timed-entry reservation. Cars cost $15 each.

  • Take a look at Las Vegas’s downtown.

The city’s reputation for luxury, nonstop entertainment, gambling, bright lights, restless nights, and eventually, a place to stay and play with this.
