While we wait to get back to real travel when we get over the pandemic, we can continue to do so with our imaginations and our eyes, admiring from a distance the wonders that await us. Salar De Uyuni – Bolivia The salt desert, the largest mirror on the planet and one of the most beautiful places in the world. As large as the region of Abruzzo, this huge expanse of salt has about 10 billion tons of salt and accounts for one-third of the planet’s lithium reserves. It is located at almost 4000m in the Bolivian southeast and is home to 3 different species of flamingos and is truly a breathtaking place where the sky blends with the desert. Among the high dunes of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, in the heart of the Namibian desert you will find the Dead Vlei whose beauty, honestly, is not easy to describe in words. This spectacular place is surreal and you will feel like you have been catapulted to Mars. Still life on white sand with trees that are about 900 years old and have not decomposed due to the particularly arid climate. This is a real paradise for those who love photography: the contrast between the trees blackened by time, the white sand, the red dunes and the blue sky … in short, you can take incredible photos!

At noon, when the sun is shining, rays of light cut through the canyon, illuminating the narrow orange and gold sandstone walls creating a supernatural appearance.
