When it comes to outdoor adventure activities in spectacular locations, no place in Africa can beat Cape Town, South Africa. Cape Town is a world-class outdoor playground! There’s plenty to keep your adrenaline pumping, whether you like to get your adrenaline fixed on land, sea, or air. Here are some of the most extraordinary adventurous things to do in Cape Town that won’t break the bank.

Seal Snorkeling at Hout Bay

They are starting with one of the best water sports in Cape Town, as well as one of the most affordable. Take a boat to Duiker Island and snorkel with hundreds of playful seals in their natural habitat. Around 5000 Cape Fur Seals live on this island in Hout Bay! To join the Animal Ocean seal diving experts, you must be at least ten years old and able to swim. However, children aged 6 to 10 can participate as Boat Riders.

From March to April is the most fantastic time to snorkel with seals in Cape Town. This is when the seal puppies start swimming, and you can interact with them. But some people question, “What about the great white sharks?” Since the reefs are shallow and protected by kelp forests, the water is too chilly, and sharks aren’t an issue. You may make a seal dive reservation on the Animal Ocean Facebook page or their mobile-friendly website.

Cape Town Go-Kart Racing

A low-cost, high-speed adventure sport with kid-friendly options for adventurous families. It comprises zipping around the 310-meter racing track in high-tech go-karts. You’ll be under close monitoring to keep things safe without losing the rush. Karting is a beautiful nighttime fun because the race tracks are open seven days a week (morning to late night).

Head to Kenilworth Karting’s Killarney Race Track replica or Canal Walk’s Century Karting track. They are two of the country’s greatest indoor karting circuits. You can ‘Arrive and Drive’ for as long as you like, from novice to expert slots. For the first-time racer, rates include a safety briefing, helmet, and driving training. Go-karting is a great rainy-day activity in Cape Town and for family or group occasions. They accept special reservations for large groups (up to 24 drivers) and groups of under-16s.

Kayaking with Penguins & Other Sea Animals

A low-cost and environmentally responsible outdoor activity in Cape Town. Kayak with a penguin at Boulder’s Beach near Simon’s Town in False Bay. The kayaking tours are available every day, mainly on days when it is less windy. Kayak Cape Town can accommodate up to 18 people, making it an excellent group activity. They use reliable double kayaks, and no prior kayaking expertise is required.

The suggested age is over ten years. However, a younger youngster can be paired with a muscular adult willing to do all the powering. Anyone with a moderate fitness level, including senior individuals, will be able to handle the paddle.

In Cape Town, Go Surfing
