Located in the heart of Huascaran National Park is a must-see place. The stunning ice-capped mountains and the still turquoise water is worth the strenuous climb. Most of the trail is flat and easy but the last half-hour hike is a real challenge. Once reached the elevation of 15,000 feet, the scenic views are more like a picture.
