One of the finest rural escapes close to London is the New Forest National Park. It’s the ideal weekend getaway for nature lovers and city dwellers, with over 200 square km and heathland, ancient woodland, and shoreline to explore. The shoreline of this national park is perfect for thrilling activities like sailing and kitesurfing, while the park has hundreds of kilometers of bridleways and cycling routes. The New Forest is excellent for anyone who loves nature and animals since it is home to free-roaming horses, rare breed cattle, and even pigs. Many of the most incredible cycling routes originate in or around the community of Brockenhurst.
