Since Santorini has become a popular tourist destination and a bit of an Instagram viral. It has become hard to get inexpensive accommodation there during the summer. The following budget accommodations in Santorini are spotless, charming, and a great deal.

The cost of staying at the available hotels has skyrocketed in recent years. It is one of the primary reasons why travelers have found it challenging to visit Santorini. The obvious reason for this is that Santorini is one of the most popular tourist destinations worldwide, not in Europe.

Some of the most expensive hotels in Europe, especially during the high season of May, June, July, August, and September. These are the magnificent Santorini hotels in Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli, or Oia. Situated on the cliff with their balconies and plunge pools with spectacular views of the famous volcano lagoon (called caldera). So, if you’re seeking affordable choices, you’re not going to find any of those.

Suppose you don’t know where to stay in Santorini and seek a cheap hotel. In that case, you must stay in Fira, Perissa, or Kamari because they are the areas with the most fantastic affordable hotels in Santorini.

Stelios Place (Perissa)

This hotel is among the best-rated in Santorini for good reasons. It costs under $100 per night (during the high season). Although Stelios Place doesn’t offer fantastic views of the caldera. It is a family-run establishment with excellent staff who will ensure you have a pleasant day there. The hotel itself is immaculate, it is a few meters from the beach, but it also has a perfect swimming pool that you can use. You get free towels, daily room cleaning, and airport transportation.

Antonia Hotel (Fira)

A family-run hotel in a prime position, right in the heart of Fira and minutes from everything! Although simple, the rooms themselves are pretty clean, and there is a beautiful terrace where you may unwind. For only 5 euros, the owners may organize a shuttle service to/from the port or airport. Along with a private bathroom, the rooms have soundproofed windows, flat-screen televisions, and complimentary WiFi. The flats also come with a fridge, glasses, and a kettle.

Within a 5-minute stroll of the event, guests may eat at D’s Burgers in the United States. It takes roughly 5 minutes to walk to the Fira Terminal bus station. The hotel features a communal pool, flat-screen TV, and an outdoor pool area. There is a gym with a large selection of sports.

King Thiras Hotel (Firostefani)

There are no frills here, but this is a clean, good-quality place to stay while visiting Santorini. Since they were all recently renovated, the balconies in most rooms provide charming views. The breakfast is also excellent! You may come and go as you choose because the WiFi and the parking are always free. This facility brings you close to sights and fascinating eating alternatives because of its convenient location in Santorini’s Fira neighborhood. Don’t leave without stopping at the renowned Santorini National Airport. A restaurant is available on-site as an extra benefit to meet your needs.

Phoenix Hotel (Fira)

This one is not in the heart of Fira, but remember that you must make concessions if you want to save money (but we are talking about 10mins from the center of Fira). Because it is remodelling, this one is a brand-new addition. It’s a great hotel with many roomy air-conditioned rooms and a lovely pool. The hotel offers a cozy atmosphere, and the kind proprietors will ensure you have a wonderful stay. It has multi-channel televisions and free WiFi in its air-conditioned rooms. There are slippers, a shower, and complimentary amenities along with an oven, an electric kettle, and refrigerators.

Kiklamino Suite & Apartments (Oia)

Although it’s outside Oia’s leading (and most renowned) area, Kiklamino Suites is still referred to as Oia. We’ll reiterate that caldera views do not come at a bargain price. Katerina and her family own the charming hotel Kiklamino. They endeavour to make your — focusing. The daily breakfast basket is delicious, and the rooms are pleasant and well decorated. Another advantage is the adorable backyard! Air conditioning in rooms may be set on an individual basis. Each has a dining space, a kitchenette, a refrigerator, and a toaster. Each unit has a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer.

To go to and stay in Santorini, you do not need to spend thousands of your hard-earned dollars. Stay away from the caldera or travel outside June-July-August-September to get the most incredible hotel deals. Make hotel reservations at least six months in advance to get the most value for your money. But, remember that Mykonos also has some excellent, priced hotels. In case you wish to combine a vacation there with one to another well-known Greek island.  Lastly, read more about travel and Europe here.
