Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Mount Kilimanjaro located in Tanzania is Africa’s youngest volcano. Not only this, it is the highest mountain and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. You would be amazed to know that it is the easiest of the seven world summits to climb. We recommend you take the longer route up the mountain to avoid altitude sickness. Allocating a week from your busy schedule to make the journey will be completely worth it.

Do you know that Mount Kilimanjaro is a stratovolcano? It is made of ash, lava, and rock. Moreover, Mount Kilimanjaro once had three volcanic cones named Kibo, Shira, and Mawenzi. Out of which Shira and Mawenzi are extinct volcanoes. It means that there is no activity underneath these cones. However, this is not the case with the third cone Kibo, which is considered a dormant volcano meaning it can erupt again.

Victoria Falls offers its visitors a dramatic sight of awe-inspiring beauty and splendor. Nestled on the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. We recommend you plan your visit around March and April as it is the peak flood season. It is when you can experience the full power of Victoria Falls with all its magnificence and glory. The aerial views during this time of the year are unbelievably breathtaking with clouds of spray rising high into the sky.
